Brimonidine tartrate lowers pressure by allowing better fluid drainage from within

alpha agonist.
This medication is used to treat open-angle glaucoma or high fluid pressure in
the eye. Lowering high fluid pressure in the eye reduces the risk of vision loss, nerve

This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy or blur your vision.
Caution is advised when using this medication in children because they may be
more sensitive to its side effects, especially drowsiness.
This medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.
