Celecoxib belongs to a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID)s, called COX-2 inhibitors. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for pain and inflammation (redness and swelling)
Uses
- Celecoxib is used for pain relief, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and pain during menstruation.
- Celecoxib is also used to treat ankylosing spondylitis, which is a type of arthritis that affects the joints in the spine.
- Celecoxib is also used to treat acute migraine headaches with or without aura. However, this medicine is not used to prevent migraines.

- Swelling Of The Face, Fingers, Feet, or Lower Legs
- Rapid Weight Gain

Precautions / Concerns
- Does not cure arthritis and will help you only as long as you continue to take it.
