Enoxaparin is used in the treatment and prevention of acute coronary syndrome, Deep vein thrombosis and Pulmonary embolism. It prevents the formation of blood clots in the legs, lungs, brain or heart. It is also used to treat certain types of acute heart attacks.
Enoxaparin is also used if you are unable to get out of bed because of a serious illness.
