Uses
Calcium Citrate is used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets. It may be used to treat conditions caused by low calcium levels such as bone loss, weak bones, decreased activity of the parathyroid gland and a certain muscle disease.

Uses
Magnesium Hydroxide is a stool softener used in the treatment of constipation; it prevents dry and hard stools. It is also used to relieve symptoms such as heartburn, sour stomach, flatulence, etc.

Precautions / Concerns
- This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from liver diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.
- Use of this medicine may increase the magnesium levels in the blood. The risk is especially higher in patients suffering from kidney diseases. Report any symptoms such as flushing of the skin, increased thirst, difficulty in breathing, changes in heart rate, etc. to the doctor immediately.
- Do not take it for more than 2 weeks, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor.
- Avoid Magnesium Hydroxide, if you show signs of appendicitis or inflammed bowel (such as lower abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, nausea, vomiting). Please consult your doctor.
- Do not take the Magnesium Hydroxide at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines. It may interact with other medicines.
