This medication is an anti-inflammatory agent, prescribed for osteoarthritis and chronic inflammatory arthritis. Mainly used for knee and hip joints.
- Diarrhea,
- stomach pain,
- nausea,
- vomiting
- intense yellow coloring of urine.
- Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver, kidney disease, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Monitor complete blood count, liver function, and urinalysis regularly while taking this medication.
- Do not take Diacerein if you are suffering from diarrhea or are above 60 years of age.
