Halometasone is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.
Uses
Used to treat chronic psoriasis vulgaris, eczema and acute eczematous dermatoses.
Side Effects
Bone disorder, muscle pain, muscle fractures, irregular menstrual periods, hyperhydrosis, skin thinning and hypersensitivity.
Precautions / Concerns
Avoid if you have skin disease.
Do not use under occlusive dressings or on large surface area.
Donot use for long, If symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks, consult your doctor.
