Cetrimide

Cetrimide is an antiseptic which treats infection in the affected area and relieves irritation.

Uses

Cetrimide has antiseptic properties and is used for cleaning wounds and treating
minor burns, abrasions and scalds, and for curing seborrhoeic dermatitis.
This medication is also used for sterilizing surgical instruments.

 Redness Of Skin
 Burning Sensation

Precautions / Concerns

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women
unless absolutely necessary. 
This medicine is only recommended for external use. Avoid contact with the mouth
and eyes.
This medicine may cause skin irritation in some patients. 
Wash your hand before or after applying the medicine. 
Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.

Lindane
Uses
Used to treat scabies, pediculus capitis(head lice), pediculus pubis(crab lice).
Side Effects
Muscle cramps, rapid heart rate, irritation, vomiting, convulsions, dizziness, skin rash, itching, burning, dryness, drowsiness and seizures.
Precautions / Concerns
Avoid if patients are allergic to Lindane. Do not take if a patient have skin disease, liver disease. Do not take with phenothiazines, isoniazid, phenobarbital, amitriptyline. Consult with the doctor in lactation and pregnancy.
