Cefdinir is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive.
Uses
Used to treat otitis media, soft tissue infections, strep throat , used to treat infections of the respiratory tract including pneumonia, sinusitis, and bronchitis.
Side Effects
Diarrhea, vaginal infections or inflammation, nausea, headache, and abdominal pain
Precautions / Concerns
Avoids if patients are allergic to Cefdinir. Do not take if patients are kidney disease , intestinal problems. This medication is not for an unborn baby.
