Zinc Oxide 5.00 %w/w + Chlorpheniramine Maleate 0.01 %w/v + Permethrin 1.00 %w/w + Beclometasone Dipropionate 0.03 %w/w
Zinc Oxide
  • Zinc oxide is an inorganic compound with the formula ZnO. ZnO is a white powder that is insoluble in water.
  • Zinc (Topical) is a mild antiseptic with skin soothing properties.It works by forming a barrier on the skin to protect it from irritants/moisture
Uses
  • Zinc oxide topical (for the skin) is used to treat diaper rash, minor burns, severely chapped skin, or other minor skin irritations.
  • Zinc oxide rectal suppositories are used to treat itching, burning, irritation, and other rectal discomfort caused by hemorrhoids or painful bowel movement
Side Effects
  • Hives
  • Itching
  • Skin rash
  • Worsening of diaper rash
  • Burning and stinging of broken skin
  • Swelling of the face, lips or tongue.

 

Precautions / Concerns
  • If you or your child's symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
  • If you or your child accidentally swallows the medicine, call the Poison Control Center right away.
  • This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. 
Chlorpheniramine Maleate

Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. Chlorpheniramine Maleate works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms.


 


 

Uses
  • Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that is used to prevent or treat allergic reactions like hay fever or urticaria caused by pollen, dust, or animal hair.
  • Chlorpheniramine is used to treat runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.
Side Effects
  • Sleepiness or unusual drowsiness
  • Blurred or double vision
  • Dry mouth
  • Jaundice
  • Aplastic anemia
  • Nausea
  • Loss of appetite
Precautions / Concerns
  • Use of this medicine in children under the age of 2 years is not recommended.
  • Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. chlorpheniramine is usually taken only for a short time until your symptoms clear up.
Permethrin
  • Permethrin is an anti-parasite medication. It works by killing the tiny insects (mites) and their eggs, which cause scabies. It also kills head lice which attach to your scalp and irritate it.
  • It is used externally on the skin in the form of a cream, ointment, gel etc.
Uses
  • Permethrin is used to treat infestation of lice, ticks, fleas and mites on the scalp and the skin.
  • This medicine is used to treat a highly contagious infection (scabies) caused by mites marked by intense itching in the affected area.

Precautions / Concerns
  • Use of this medicine may increase itching, swelling, and redness temporarily. Report the doctor if the symptoms are severe and persistent.
  • This medicine is intended for external use only and should not be taken orally or applied onto cracked or wounded skin parts.
  • This medicine has been associated with difficulty in breathing in some patients. It should be used cautiously in patients who have an allergy to pollens of chrysanthemum or other plants.
  • It is advised to appropriately sanitize the bed, clothes, furniture and other items present in the house after using this medicine.
Beclometasone Dipropionate
  • Beclomethasone dipropionate works by attenuating the inflammatory responses associated with asthma, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, and corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. It suppresses the actions of inflammatory cells.
  • Beclomethasone is a steroid. Betamethasone is similar to the naturally occurring steroidal hormones (hydrocortisone/cortisone) produced by the adrenal glands. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.
Uses

Beclomethasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid drug with anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictive effects used to treat chronic inflammatory processes such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.

  • Beclomethasone inhalation will not work fast enough to treat an asthma attack. Use only a fast acting inhalation medicine for an asthma attack.
  • Beclomethasone inhalation is used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and childrenwho are at least 5 years old.
  • The most commonly reported adverse reactions have includedheadache, pharyngitis, rhinitis, inhalation site and taste sensation.
