VALENT H is a fixed dose combination medication that contains Valsartan (80.00mg/tablet) and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.50mg/tablet). Valsartan belongs to a class of medications called angiotensin receptor blockers, which work by relaxing blood vessels and reducing blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that helps the body eliminate excess water and salt. This combination is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients who have been found to be unresponsive to monotherapy.
