AMLOZAAR H is a fixed-dose combination medication that contains Losartan Potassium, Hydrochlorothiazide, and Amlodipine. Losartan Potassium is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that helps dilate blood vessels, reducing blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that increases urine production, leading to the elimination of excess fluid and sodium from the body. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure. Together, these ingredients work synergistically to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and improve blood flow.
