This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless necessary.
Excessive concurrent use of alcohol is contraindicated while on treatment with this medicine.
This medicine should be discontinued or dose should be reduced if the patient experiences any central nervous system toxicity such as convulsions, psychosis, sleepiness, depression, confusion, headache, tremor, vertigo, etc.
Before initiating treatment with this medicine, cultures should be taken and the susceptibility of the organism to the medicine should be established.
Use of this medicine may cause blurred vision or dizziness in some patients.
Close monitoring of blood levels of this medicine is necessary, especially in patients with an impaired kidney function.
Cycloserine and other antituberculous drugs have been associated with vitamin B12 and/or folic acid deficiency, megaloblastic anemia, and sideroblastic anemia.
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease due to the increased risk of adverse effects.
