Product Description
COFMAC is a combination syrup that contains Guaiphenesin, Dextromethorphan, Chloramphenicol, and Ammonium Chloride. Guaiphenesin helps relieve cough by loosening and thinning mucus in the airways. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that acts on the cough center in the brain. Chloramphenicol has antibacterial properties and helps in the treatment of respiratory infections. Ammonium Chloride helps to loosen and thin mucus, making it easier to cough up. This combination works synergistically to provide relief from cough and respiratory symptoms. COFMAC is indicated for the management of productive cough associated with respiratory tract infections.
