Moxifloxacin 0.50 %w/v + Betamethasone 0.10 %w/v

DECAMOX is a fixed dose combination of Moxifloxacin and Betamethasone eye drops. Moxifloxacin belongs to the class of antibiotics known as fluoroquinolones and is used to treat eye infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Betamethasone, a corticosteroid, helps reduce inflammation and provides relief from symptoms such as redness, swelling, and itching. This combination medication effectively treats various eye conditions and provides both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory actions. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and other ocular inflammations. Instill DECAMOX eye drops into the affected eye(s) as directed by your doctor. Wash your hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and place the prescribed number of drops in the eye. Close your eyes gently for 1-2 minutes and blink a few times to distribute the medication. Avoid rubbing the eyes. If using other eye medications, wait for at least 5 minutes between applications.
