DEFCORT TM is a fixed dose combination medication that contains Tamsulosin (0.40mg/Capsule) and Deflazacort (30.00mg/Capsule). Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate. Deflazacort is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and suppresses the immune system. This combination is used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and manage certain inflammatory conditions.
