Product Description
EP is a fixed dose combination of Valproic Acid and Sodium Valproate. Valproic Acid is an anticonvulsant medication that works by increasing the levels of certain chemicals in the brain to help control seizures. Sodium Valproate is also an anticonvulsant that works by increasing the levels of a neurotransmitter called GABA in the brain. This combination is used to treat various types of seizures, including absence seizures and generalized seizures. It may also be used to treat bipolar disorder and prevent migraines. EP helps in stabilizing brain electrical activity and reducing the frequency of seizures.
