Product Description
FORECOX 150MG is a fixed-dose combination medication used in the treatment of tuberculosis. It consists of Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, Isoniazid, and Ethambutol Hydrochloride, which act synergistically to combat Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria that causes tuberculosis. Rifampicin exhibits bactericidal activity by inhibiting the synthesis of RNA. Pyrazinamide works by disrupting the energy metabolism of the bacteria. Isoniazid inhibits the synthesis of cell wall components. Ethambutol Hydrochloride inhibits the synthesis of the cell wall by interfering with the bacteria's ability to incorporate mycolic acids. Together, these components provide a comprehensive approach to the management of tuberculosis infections.
