Each tablet of FXR 10 contains 10.00mg of Obeticholic acid. It is a medication used for the treatment of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), a chronic liver disease that affects the bile ducts. Obeticholic acid works by increasing bile flow and reducing liver inflammation, thereby slowing down the progression of the disease. It is usually prescribed as an adjunct to Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) in patients with inadequate response to UDCA alone or as monotherapy in patients who are unable to tolerate UDCA. FXR 10 plays a significant role in managing PBC and improving liver health.
