Gatifloxacin 0.30 %w/v

GATIKIND 0.3% is an eye drop formulation containing 0.30% Gatifloxacin. It is used to treat bacterial eye infections. Gatifloxacin belongs to the class of antibiotics known as fluoroquinolones, which work by stopping the growth of bacteria. GATIKIND 0.3% is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, commonly known as pink eye. It helps to reduce redness, swelling, and discharge associated with the infection. It is an effective treatment option for various eye infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Wash your hands before using the eye drops. Tilt your head back, look up, and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper directly over the eye and apply the prescribed number of drops. Close your eye and gently press on the inner corner of your eye for about 1 minute to prevent the medication from draining into the tear duct. Repeat the process in the other eye if directed to do so by your doctor.
