SALT COMPOSITION
Zinc Oxide 22.50 mg + Cupric Sulphate 3.00 mg + Sodium Selenate 65.00 mg + Calcium Pantothenate 200.00 mg + N-acetylcysteine 50.00 mg + Biotin 10.00 mg
Zinc Oxide
  • Zinc oxide is an inorganic compound with the formula ZnO. ZnO is a white powder that is insoluble in water.
  • Zinc (Topical) is a mild antiseptic with skin soothing properties.It works by forming a barrier on the skin to protect it from irritants/moisture
Uses
  • Zinc oxide topical (for the skin) is used to treat diaper rash, minor burns, severely chapped skin, or other minor skin irritations.
  • Zinc oxide rectal suppositories are used to treat itching, burning, irritation, and other rectal discomfort caused by hemorrhoids or painful bowel movement
Side Effects
  • Hives
  • Itching
  • Skin rash
  • Worsening of diaper rash
  • Burning and stinging of broken skin
  • Swelling of the face, lips or tongue.

 

Precautions / Concerns
  • If you or your child's symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
  • If you or your child accidentally swallows the medicine, call the Poison Control Center right away.
  • This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.

Calcium Pantothenate is used in a combination with other vitamins to treat vitamin deficiency conditions.

It may also be used in a combination with other vitamins to lower the levels of lipids and cholesterol in the body.

Uses

Calcium Pantothenate is the calcium salt of pantothenic acid.

  • Severe skin rash and hives
  • Blistering and peeling of skin
  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Difficulty in swallowing
  • Hoarseness of voice
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

 

Precautions / Concerns

This supplement is considered safe for consumption by pregnant and breastfeeding women within the recommended dietary allowance.

Calcium Pantothenate may interact with many other supplements and may cause severe adverse effects. 

This supplement may be prescribed alone or in a combination with other medicines/supplements for a host of other conditions. 

This supplement should be used with caution in patients with an active disorder of the blood like anemia, thrombocytopenia, blood clotting disorders, etc.

This supplement should be used with caution in patients with a history of any gastrointestinal disorders due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.

It is recommended to first make a dietary modification to treat the deficiency of pantothenic acid.

N-acetylcysteine

N-acetyl cysteine is most commonly used by mouth for cough and other lung conditions. It is also used for fludry eye, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support many of these uses.

Uses

N-acetyl cysteine comes from the amino acid L-cysteine. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. N-acetyl cysteine has many uses as medicine.

Precautions / Concerns

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless clearly necessary. 

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from a severe and sudden attack of asthma. 

This medicine should not be used with topical antibiotics for relieving dry eye syndrome due to the increased risk of severe adverse reactions.

Both the oral and intravenous forms of this medicine are used for the treatment of paracetamol poisoning.

Use of this medicine may cause severe allergic reactions like a rapid fall in blood pressure, difficulty in breathing, rash, etc. 

Biotin

Biotin is a B complex vitamin used as a nutritional supplementation for dietary shortage or imbalance which may cause hair loss or total alopecia, brittle nails, skin rash in infants, and mild depression.

Uses

Biotin is a form of vitamin B that provides essential nutrients.

This medicine is considered safe for consumption by pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Use of this medicine in children should be done only under your doctor's supervision.

The effect of therapy with Biotin may occur 3 to 6 months after starting the therapy.

Dialysis patients may require a higher dose due to drug removal during dialysis.
