Uses
Used to treat iron deficiency anemia and iron deficiencies.
Side Effects
Black stools, stomach pain, vomiting, cramping, skin allergies, loss of appetite, and stomach upset.
Precautions / Concerns
Avoid if a patients are allergic to Elemental iron. Do not take if patients has hemolytic anemia, iron overload anemia. Do not take with fluoroquinolones, tetracycline, levodopa. Consult with the doctor during pregnancy and lactation.

Used in the treatment of rickets, low parathyroid hormone level, low phosphate level, osteomalacia, renal osteodystrophy, vit.D deficiency.
