Tiotropium is an anticholinergic medication. It works by relaxing the muscles in the
airways and widens the airways. This makes breathing easier.
Tiotropium inhalation is a bronchodilator that is used to prevent bronchospasm
(narrowing of the airways in the lungs) in adults with COPD (chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease), including bronchitis and emphysema.
Tiotropium inhalation is also used to prevent asthma attacks

Skin rash, hives, or itching

Inhaled medications like this drug can unexpectedly worsen shortness of breath. It
can also lead to new breathing problems.
This drug can cause you to retain urine.
This drug can cause dizziness.
