VILDALIVE M 500/50 is a fixed-dose combination medication that contains Vildagliptin and Metformin. Vildagliptin works by increasing insulin release from the pancreas and reducing the amount of sugar made by the liver. Metformin decreases the amount of sugar your liver makes and helps your body respond better to insulin. This combination is used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
